As you may know, with the start of the 2020-2021 school year the Grafton Public Schools expanded its one-to-one (one device for EVERY student) program to students in grades 6-8. We are excited to continue this program for the 2025-2026 school year.
At this time, we are asking ALL families with students entering grades 6 to arrange to pick up their child’s assigned device on one of the curbside deployment dates below. We will hold our curbside pickup for Chromebooks at the Grafton High/Middle School Parking Lot. Parents/Guardians for both NSES and MSES students can come on any of the three (3) dates listed below to pick up their student’s school-issued device.
Parents or guardians who are unable to pick up their student’s device themselves may send another individual or adult. Please complete the form (linked here) only if someone other than a parent or guardian will be picking up a student device.

- Wednesday, August 6th - 2 pm-4 pm
- Wednesday, August 13th - 9 am-11 am
- Wednesday, August 20th - 11 am-1 pm
Prior to device deployment/pickup, we ask that parents/guardians review the District’s Empowered Digital Use Policy with their child(ren) and bring the signed Empowered Digital Users Form with them. District technology staff will collect the signed Form when the device is provided to the student/family. You must have a signed Empowered Digital Users Form to pick up your device.

When you arrive at the school it is not necessary to get out of your car. Please pull up to the curb by the distribution tent and a technology staff member will come to your car, collect the signed Acknowledgement Form, and provide the device and charger.
The Technology Department strongly recommends that ALL families consider the optional Chromebook insurance offered through Securranty Flyer (linked here). Please be sure to provide Securranty with the serial number of the school-issued Chromebook at purchase.
Students in 6th grade will also begin using our learning management system (LMS), Schoology. A Schoology course called Chromebook Deployment: 2025-2026 is available for students to learn how to use the Chromebook, learn about some key extensions, and an introduction to Schoology for success in the new school year. To access this course, please have students;
- Log onto their new school-issued Chromebook with their school Google account.
- Open Google Chrome and visit www.graftonps.org.
- Select Schoology from the Student Links menu.
- Log into Schoology using (or by selecting) their school Google account.
- Once in Schoology, click on Courses and select Chromebook Deployment: 2025-2026. From here students should navigate through the folders and complete the activities.
