iPads for Freshman and New Students to GHS

The Grafton Public Schools is pleased to continue its 1:1 iPad program by distributing iPads to incoming students.  At this time, we are asking families with students entering grade 9 and those new to Grafton High School to arrange to pick up their child’s assigned device on one of the following curbside deployment dates below. 

Devices not picked up during these deployment dates will be distributed to students at the start of the 2020-21 school year.

Parents/Guardians who are unable to pick up their student’s device themselves may send another individual/adult.  Please complete the form (linked here) only if someone other than a parent/guardian will be picking up a student device.

Prior to device deployment/pick up, we are asking that parents/guardians review the District’s Acceptable Use & Internet Safety Policy with their child(ren) and bring the signed Acknowledgement Form with them.  District technology staff will collect the signed Acknowledgement Form at the time the device is provided to the student/family.

When you arrive at the school it is not necessary to get out of your car.  Please pull up to the curb by the distribution tent and a technology staff member will come to your car, collect the signed Acknowledgment Form, and provide the device and charger.

It is highly recommended that families purchase the optional insurance to cover the cost of any potential damage.  Please note, beyond providing the names of device insurance vendors, the District has no involvement in the purchase of insurance or claims when damage occurs.  Please see details from two recommended insurance companies below.
