Welcome to the 2019-2020 school Year!
My name is Mrs. Kackley and I teach both Art and Computers at Millbury Street School. Before I became a teacher I worked in Architecture designing buildings, which has been the perfect background to transition into teaching both Art and Computers! I love being able to use my artistic creativity in the computer room and my computer technical skills in the art room to enhance my student lessons. Students are always interested in my left brain, right brain laptop cover. I think it shows the characteristics needed to teach both subjects. Have you noticed and read my laptop cover? Which side of the brain is your strength?
My husband and I have two little boys, the oldest is 3 and the youngest turned 1 in May. We are very busy at home and I enjoy when I get to come to school to hang out with all of you!
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. Because I switch between 2 classrooms, email is the best form of contact for me.
I look forward to a great school year with you!

Calling All LEGOS!
Do you find yourself tripping over those little LEGO pieces in your house all the time? Maybe you have a giant box of LEGOS that have been sitting in your basement for a few years and your children no longer use them. Maybe some pieces have been lost in the vacuum and that cool LEGO castle can no longer be built.
If this sounds like your house, and you would like to donate your LEGOS to the MSS Tech Team, we would happily use them in class as part of our STEM curriculum! Feel free to send them in and leave them under my desk with a note as to whom they are from.
Mrs. Miller, the students of MSS and I thank you!
Square 1 Art
Square 1 Art is our Art fundraiser that we do each year. It allows MSS and SGES to be able to buy supplies for our art room and for students to get a copy of their work in a special way. Below is a Mrs. Kackley Square 1 Art original family portrait from 3rd Grade. Yes, you read that right! My mom still has my artwork hanging on my parents fridge, in magnet form, all these years later!
