  • Snack & Lunch

    SNACK: We will have a morning snack every morning. Please be sure to send your child to school with ONE healthy snack, they can eat within 10 minutes.

     

    WATER BOTTLE: Please send your child to school with a water bottle EVERYDAY! There will be no bubblers this year! They will keep their water bottle on their desk all day, and be able to refill it if needed . 

    LUNCH: Lunch is served at 12:30 following morning recess. School lunch with a milk is FREE until the end of December (maybe longer). However, if you are just buying milk it will cost .40. There is also a pre-payment lunch plan available as they will not be accepting cash this year.

  • Birthday Fun

    We love to celebrate birthdays in 1A! Each student will get a crown to wear on their special day. This year, you will be asked to NOT send in treats/gift bags for the class. Some families choose to donate a book to the classroom in honor of a birthday I can read aloud. If your birthday falls on a weekend, we’ll celebrate it either the Friday before.

    Many parents ask about sending home birthday invitations through classroom mail. It is school policy not to distribute birthday party invitations at school unless the entire class is invited. This is a firm policy due to the sensitivity of students who may be left out. 

    Parents, if you would like to send a special birthday email to your child I will print it out and have it waiting on their desk for them on their special day.
