About Me

Mrs. Sarah Hanna

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Sarah Hanna

I'm Sarah Hanna and I have been teaching for 8 years; this will be my 5th year at North Street. I really enjoy teaching math and exploring mathematical concepts to find out “why stuff works.” Very often in my classroom, the journey is the destination. Aside from teaching, I enjoy camping, hiking, crocheting, and spending time with my husband, Phil, and cat, Franklin. I am originally from Long Island, NY but have transitioned into a full-fledge Pats fan (but let’s not talk about baseball…).

I am looking forward to a productive, exciting, and fun year. This year your child will be working diligently through a math curriculum that will challenge students to think critically, communicate, collaborate, and create representations to support their understandings.
