Mrs. Sharon Buckley--School Counseling Director
Sharon Buckley joined the Grafton High School counseling team in 2019 after spending 20 years at Marlborough High School in various roles. She holds a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Framingham State University, an MSEd in Health Education from Worcester State University and a CAGS from Fitchburg State University in Independent Studies: School Counseling. Counseling was a career change for Sharon, as she first worked as an out-patient nutrition counselor and corporate wellness coach. She then segued into education as a Food/Nutrition teacher, Health Education teacher and ultimately landed in school counseling, where she rose to a district leadership role. Energetic and enthusiastic, Sharon employs a collaborative and team-building approach in working to support all students. She enjoys time at the beach, cooking, reading and spending time with her husband, three children and 3 grandchildren.
Mrs. Jennifer Cummings
Jenny Cummings joined the Grafton Counseling Department in 2022. School counseling was a career change for Jenny as she spent her first 5 years after college working in the finance field. Quickly realizing this was not where her highest calling lay, she went back to school and has been an educator ever since! Jenny holds a BA in Psychology from Assumption College and an M.Ed in School Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. After spending 6 years in Arizona and 4 years in a neighboring district working as a school counselor, she is excited to be in the role as the College and Career Counselor at Grafton. She will be the first one to tell you that the career journey is rarely a straight line; there are bound to be zigs and zags along the way. Creative and enthusiastic, making connections with students and helping them self-reflect and discover their strengths and interests is a passion of hers. Jenny's young children, Carson and Corinne, keep her busy and on her toes! When not chasing them around or chauffeuring them to and from activities, she enjoys reading, cooking, barre classes, and watching reality TV!
Mrs. Kathy Egan
Kathy Egan joined the GHS Counseling Department in 1995 and is excited to begin her 28th year working with families in the Grafton community. She holds degrees in Psychology and Education from Westfield State University, and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Assumption University. She enjoys trying out new restaurants with friends and spending time with her husband, daughter and Finn, their English Golden Retriever.
Mr. Brian Fedorczuk
Brian Fedorczuk joined the GHS counseling team in 2022 after spending 17 years working as a School Adjustment Counselor at the SEEM Collaborative in Stoneham, MA. He is devoted and passionate as he attends to the needs of his students and is dedicated to the development of therapeutic relationships with both his students and their families. Brian holds a BS in Psychology from Worcester State University and a MS in Counseling Psychology from Fitchburg State University. Brian enjoys spending his time with his two sons and staying active outdoors.
Ms. Jennifer Laramee
Jenn Laramee joined the Grafton Counseling Department in 2022. An administrative assistant role was a career change for Jenn as she spent the last 9 years in the insurance industry. She has also been the head coach and program director for Grafton's varsity and junior varsity cheerleading teams since 2017. Through working with high school student athletes over the years, Jenn quickly realized that her calling was working with high school students and she is thrilled to be part of the counseling team. Grafton's cheerleading team currently holds numerous league and regional titles, along with the State Championship title for 2019. Aside from working in Grafton, Jenn enjoys spending time with her 9-year-old daughter and staying active!Mr. John Patraitis
John Patraitis has been a school counselor at Grafton High School since 2006. He previously was a school counselor at Sutton High School and an educational advisor at Worcester North High School. He also has worked as a college admissions counselor at Anna Maria College. He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College. He also has a Master’s in Education from Anna Maria College and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College. John has coached the Boys varsity basketball team at Grafton High for 19 years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Ms. Laurie Rohan
Laurie Rohan joined the GHS counseling team in 2010. Prior to that, she worked in college admissions and special education. Laurie has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Westfield State University and a MS in Counseling Psychology from Fitchburg State University. Laurie prides herself on establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students and families. Outside of work, Laurie spends her downtime at the beach, spending time with her family and playing tennis.
