It is a pleasure to serve as the Principal of Grafton Middle School! The 2020-2021 school year will be my eighteenth year as a middle school administrator, and my fifth year in Grafton, following a five year appointment in the Abington Public Schools and an eight year appointment in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District. My Principal Certification was achieved through the completion of leadership courses offered through Northeastern University, and I earned my Masters in Education at Lesley University. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Management from the University of Massachusetts.
This is a highly unusual year during the COVID-19 Pandemic, but we have put into place protocols that honor the safety of our students and staff as our highest priority. We have developed a learning model that includes both a hybrid option (1 week learning in school and 1 week learning remotely, and repeating this pattern throughout the school year) and a remote learning academy (full at home learning). We believe these models offer the safest possible solution and also enable us to teach our students while maintaining consistent learning standards that meet the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
Our primary responsibility in education is to hold the overall well-being of the child as the fundamental value in everything we do. I value the whole child, including their academic, social and emotional beings, and I strive to help children achieve their greatest potential as they navigate their middle school years. I enjoy partnering with school community members, parents/guardians and other Grafton community members to ensure that our students achieve success in a safe and supportive learning environment. My greatest personal achievement...I am the proud mother of three children - Jeffrey, Christopher and Katarina. I currently live in Westborough.Ms. Roseanne B. KurposkaGrafton Middle School PrincipalIt is a pleasure to continue serving the Grafton Middle School community as the Assistant Principal! Over the 5 years that I've been an administrator here, it remains clear to me that Grafton is a phenomenal town to be a part of and a great place to raise a family.
I have been in the field of education for 16 years, as I earned my B.A. in History/Education from Monmouth University and my M.A. in Educational Administration from Framingham State College. Before proudly becoming an administrator in Grafton, I was a middle school and high school Social Studies teacher in Framingham, MA and Middletown, NJ.
However, my favorite job is being a father and husband to my two boys, Ryker & Kai, and my wife, Carly.Timothy FauthAssistant Principal
