    MetroWest College & Career Fair March 16
    This free event will be held Saturday March 16 from 9AM to 12:30PM at Ashland High School, 65 East Union Street, Ashland.  The fair will include 100 colleges, 50 career representatives, information sessions on admissions, financial aid, SAT/ACT, and more.     Spring SAT Prep Class at the Grafton Middle School
    From May 7 to May 30 an SAT Prep course will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in the Grafton Middle School Library.     Free Financial Aid Assistance
    American Student Assistance College Planning Centers offer free assistance with completing financial aid applications, both in person at either their Boston or Brockton sites and over the phone by calling 1-877-332-4348.  For more information, go to www.asa.org/plan.
     
    Gap Year Option
    Seniors who are unsure of what they would like to do in the future might want to check out Dynamy Internship Year.  They are located at 27 Sever Street in Worcester. For information about their programs, go to www.dynamy.org
     
    Federal Student Aid
    For information on funding a college education, students and parents can go to www.edpubs.gov to order helpful publications, or go to StudentAid.gov/resources to download electronic versions of publications and videos.  Students should also visit StudentAid.gov/fsaid to learn about creating an FSA ID which will be needed for signing the FAFSA and for various other uses on Federal Student Aid websites. 
     
    Scholarships
    Students can log in to their Naviance accounts and select Colleges to display options to view the Scholarship List or run a National Scholarship Search.  The Scholarship List contains the regional and national scholarships that GHS has been notified of. There are three categories of scholarships in the Scholarship List: College/Institution Specific, Regional/National, and For Juniors.  If students run a National Scholarship Search they can fine-tune the list to show scholarships that they may be eligible for.

    To get to the Family Connection page of Naviance, students should click Naviance Student.  We recommend that you bookmark that page.  Usernames and passwords are handed out in the Naviance user sessions run by the Guidance department. If you have forgotten your password, you can click "forgot your password" on the Family Connection home page.
