Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Tricia Flynn

Hi! My name is Tricia Flynn and I’m excited to be part of the Grafton Public Schools Reading Department.  I started teaching in Grafton in 1996 and was a reading specialist and Language Arts teacher at the middle school for ten years.   In 2006, I took some time off to start a family, and returned to Grafton in 2014.  I am a reading specialist at Millbury Street Elementary School and currently work with students in grades 2-6.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Rhode Island.  I realized that I truly enjoyed literacy, so I pursued my Master of Science degree in the Department of Literacy Teaching and Learning at the State University of New York at Albany.  Teaching children to read and write, while thoroughly enjoying the process, is one of my passions.

I live in Shrewsbury with my husband and two sons.  I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my family, at hockey rinks, baseball parks, soccer fields, and beaches!
