  • FLU SYMPTOM CHECK LIST

Should I keep my child home? If your child has a fever of 100.4 or more in the past 24 hours and has a cough/sore throat then yes, keep your child home. With the fever, your child may have a flu like illness.

Can my child return to school? If your child has not had a fever above 100.4 and your child has not had fever reducing medicine (Tylenol/Motrin/Advil) in the past 24 hours then they can return to school.
