Computer Science II
This course provides the student with a continuation of the principles learned in Computer Science I. Using the JAVA programming language, the student will learn a disciplined approach to computer programming. Topics include, but are not limited to, program flow, algorithm design, program and system design, error handling, procedural and data abstraction, and graphical user interfaces, and app development. In addition, students will review and discuss the legal and ethical responsibilities of using information technology in the 21st century. Special project work will also be included in the curriculum.
We will be using Google Classroom exclusively in this class. Students will be invited or given a code to join which gives them full access to all assignments, announcements, and lectures/videos, as well as all files necessary for in-class programming, homework, tests, and quizzes. All work, whether in class or homework, will be submitted to this location. (Assignments will also be posted in Powerschool)
