The goal of this section is to familiarize all staff of the resources and benefits available to all employees.
Teachers = Annual salary/# of school days in year = daily rate
Daily rate/6.5 hours = hourly rate
Changes after every open enrollment require each employee to check their deductions to the benefits they enrolled in. Please be sure to check your pay stubs for accuracy.
Open Enrollment for all the GIC is April 5 - May 3, 2017. The GIC benefits and Guide is under Employee Benefits.
All employees with Health Insurance must meet with AF and sign the Section 125 form for his/her flex spending card to be loaded. The same cards are used each year and the amount does have a roll over. DO NOT DESTROY YOUR CARDS.
All open enrollment forms are due into payroll by May 3rd (no exceptions). If you are not making any changes you do not need to do anything.
Be sure to log onto www.americanfidelity.com. You can purchase items online with your flex benefits card. All cards are effective July 1 - June 30th each fiscal year. Call American Fidelity at 1-800-437-1011 for balances and lost cards. Flex spending cards are not replaced each year they are reloaded. Keep your cards!
