About the Program
We have started the Helping Hands Fund to accept donations for students who need assistance to afford breakfast and lunch in school. This fund will support students who either don't qualify for free or reduced lunch or need short-term assistance while they are applying. The intention of this fund is to make sure students don't go without lunch during the school day.
We would like to thank those who helped start the fund with initial donations:
- Josh and Shawn Briggs, Wicked Twisted Pretzel
- Kimberly Bagni, Realtor
- Grafton Public Schools Class of 2017
We will continue to pursue donations so that we can keep increasing the fund balance in an effort to provide more assistance and sustain the program into the future. As the fund balance grows, we will also look to support other educational activities like field trip costs.
